Black and White Diaries.
Hello everyone,
How have ya'll been?
Every time August & September roll around, I feel like life hits a sudden refresh button. Is it just me? Okay so lately I have been finding myself continuously deferring to a black and white palette these days in purchases for the closet. There is something so nice about a “uniform”- keeping things in one simple palette and making sure those items are cut beautifully and made to last.

Sleek and sophisticated monochrome is still a big trend and high street shops like Mango, and Zara are always awash with gorgeous black and white pieces.Whether it's prints, stripes or colour blocking, working the monochrome look is so easy, there's none of the worry of wearing colours that don't compliment each other. Black and white make the perfect partnership
So here are my three looks of how to look effortlessly chic in this classic trend.
Look 1 : Get Sporty
Sports luxe is so on trend and I'm in love with it! I decided to break the norms and paired this black body con skirt with a full sleve sporty crop top. I wore my favourite forever 21 shoes to complete this look. This look is very modern, comfortable and cool!

Look 2: Biker Chick
Update your wardrobe with a biker jacket and get edgy. For this one I went all edgy and opted for a very classy Biker Girl look . This is one outfit where less is more. Simple yet so edgy , hence this is one of my personal favourite looks of all time.
Also, I'm not really into boots so I decided to pair this look with plain black heels. ;)
Look 3: Top it up!
Jogger Pants are pretty much basic and usually hold a casual look but I decided to pair them with this white crop and top it up a little. So I accessorized it with a chunky neck black colour neck piece and ring to add a little jazz. And I paired this outfit with these shiny pair of flats. Also to complete the look I wore nerd glasses as they are my personal favourite and I could pair them with almost anything! :D

Monochrome is something that is for every occasion. It always looks smart and you can always work this on a budget. This is a classic look. It’s timeless, so even if the fashion gods are not dictating that it’s a style for the season, you can wear it anyway. Which means you probably already have pieces that fit the trend and, therefore, plenty of opportunities to “shop” this one from your wardrobe.
Signing off ,
Shubhra.
Have a good day ya'll.
